Im D/Ling the game through Steam(COH,OF,TOV) I had the 1.7 mod on my old CPU before it imploded(my CPU) will Getting the game through Steam adversely effect me D/ling this mod and playing it??? I bought it on Steam for the sole reason to D/L BOTB and play it because it is FAR superior to the base game!!!!!

well, if you do so, go for OF. Its pretty cheap nowadays,
and the new version of BotB is by far superior the old v 1.7

Steam shouldnt cause any problems, though we havent tested it orselves,
but many steam users havent had any problem.
