I installed the new mod and it launches with no problems, however when I want to start a Skirmish or host a game, the Start game or start Skirmish button is greyed out and I cannot change the Set-up as far as control points or annihalation. When I do host the game, no-one can see that I'm hosting a game.

I have all 3 games of COH (original disks)

Running vista.

the new mod ? Wink we haven released the new version yet.

Your problem is strange, in fact thats the kind of problem you encounter when
you only have Opposing Fronts installed and cant use Wehrmacht and US.
But as you have all 3 this shouldnt  be the case.

Normally, I would recommend trying to install it again.
Now I would say: Wait for the new version which will be released soon and try that one.
